Today I write for moms, mostly for moms that homeschool, and especially if you’re in need of a boost of energy and encouragement .
So… we are homeschooling moms, this is what we chose to do, it’s our main job. It’s our way of life. Do you feel it even defines you? It’s who you are and not only what you do ? I think I came to think that way after a few years of schooling my kids. But then what happens when once in a while things are getting hard and you feel you are failing at it ? pretty discouraging right ? you feel like you are doing your best but it’s even your very best is never enough? You love taking care of your little ones , you’re sold on homeschooling but maybe you don’t have what it takes for it after all. Is there something wrong with you ? or maybe with your kids ? did you fail as a mom to raise them right?
I have to admit, once in a while these thoughts run in my mind… but are these the real questions I should be asking myself? Are those questions inspired by God ? The obvious answer is no ! “There is no condemnation in Christ”
So I need to take a stand, chase away those negative thoughts and ask the real questions:
Why and how did I come to this low point and what can I do to get back up and accomplish the job God’s given me ?
I am trying too hard or am I taking time to get refilled with strength and inspiration from above? Have I forgotten that I am not alone for this task , and that I need to work hand in hand with The One who loves my children even more than me .
Want to know about my battle plan ?
