Hi, and welcome on this site. 
My goal in creating this site is to share with other parents , ideas and tools to encourage you in the adventure of homeschooling .
My favorite approach is play and discovering, at the same time I like things to stay clear and simple.
I am French and so on this blog I will post mainly articles in French, but as I also homeschool my children in English , I create also games and printables in English. I’ll be happy to share some with you in the English section. You will find readers and reading activities, math activities and children stories.
A few words to tell you more about me
My name is Rachel.
I love: (in random order)
Music, mountains, my family , My precious Savior Jesus, my three wonderful children, and my awesome husband. I also love drawing, learning new things( even in math!)teaching and creating books and educational activities.
I grew up in the French Alps, studied and taught music. Then I traveled for a few years in Africa and the Ukraine were I taught in a primary school and helped with some projects in orphanages.
I now live in Italy with my husband who is Italian and works as a touristic bicycle guide. I consider it a privilege to be able to stay at home and teach our three precious kids. We chose to homeschool, and as I didn’t want to be bound by a specific curriculum I began researching a lot on methods . I wanted most of all to be able to answer the children needs and interests and include lots of play and movement for my 2 curious and active boys.
When I started to teach them to read , in French first when they were still small , I hardly find anything that was adapted to their age . So I started creating readers and other material , then illustrating it with water paint. It became a hobby and a passion…
Now I want to share the fruit of hours of work with other moms, and that’s how a new page of the adventure is starting….
